All-India Inter-School Basketball Tournament

The Tournament will be held at SMS Stadium, Jaipur, from the 12th to the 15th of October 2023. This is the first time schools from across the country will come and compete with each other in a league format. Besides this, the DAF All-India Inter-school tournament will showcase aspects that have never been deployed in Indian school basketball tournaments.

Instructions for the schools
- Participation forms should be duly attested by the school principal and confirmation should be sent to dribbleacademy@gmail.com latest by 25th September 2023 (Friday).
- All school teams must be accompanied by a coach/team in-charge/manager.
- Only entries accompanied with duly filled Eligibility Proforma will be accepted. No entry will beaccepted on telephone.
- The name of the players registered once cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- Proper first-aid will be provided but the organizing committee/organizer/school shall not beheld responsible for any kind of minor or major injury sustained by the player(s) during the game, on or off the court.
Instructions for the players
- All the participants should carry their ID cards with photograph giving their class, duly attested by their school, and issued for the academic session 2023-2024.
- Participants must come in proper basketball kit.
- The teams should report at the ground 30 minutes before the scheduled time of their match.Teams will get a walk-over if the other team reports 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
Playing regulations
- The tournament will be conducted as per the rules laid down by FIBA.
- Referee’s decisions will be final and binding.
- For any other matter not contained in these rules the decision of the Committee shall be final.
- Protest if any, must be submitted in written along with a fee of Rs.5000/- (non-refundable if the protest is invalid) within 30 minutes after the declaration of the result.
